The laundromat was very busy and people ‘in front of me’ were not good at being present at ‘their’ machines were done washing & drying. I had hoped to get my single load done and back to the boat before the rain started – NOPE!
My single load of laundry took four hours so I ended up rowing back to SWALLOW with freshly laundered clothes, towels and linen in the rain. The clean clothes got back dry but what I was wearing and the laundry bag are now wet.
SWALLOW’s forepeak is set up as the head and storage compartment so I hung the wet things up to at least become less wet. The forecast is for rain for at least a week so I’m hoping things get dry enough not to go moldy prior to there being a good opportunity to hang out in some sun.
