On the hard

SWALLOW is now ‘on the hard’ to receive her winter maintenance (so no cruising time is lost come warmer weather).

Up she goes –

Bottom fuzz and a few barnacles needed to be removed:

Out of the water and headed to the showers.
Worse condition was the bottom of the keel.
Power washing begins.
All ‘cleaned’.

Now the boatyard work (aka, ‘fun’) begins!
